RIPPLE- Community River Plan
RIPPLE stands for Rivers Involving People, Places and Leading by Example.
The RIPPLE project, jointly funded by WWF and the Heritage Lottery Fund, aims to celebrate the beauty and history of the Ballinderry River and its tributaries and to identify how the river could bring economic benefit to the area in the future.
This project is supported by local people. It uses community planning to help turn their ‘Visions for the Ballinderry’ into reality.
Everyone living near the river is being encouraged to get involved in protecting and conserving it.
